For almost 20 years, our home has been the temporary 'helping home' for over two dozen children.
Some long-term, some short-term, some just for a weekend, others adopted by friends.
In the past little while our family has had the unexpected opportunity to see two of our former foster children.
One, by way of a photo sent through an email of a friend who is in touch with the child's birth family.
The other, seen in passing by one of our family at a local mall.
Just knowing that they are growing and doing well brings a sense of satisfaction.
A place in our hearts for each one that has called this family 'home' for however short or long a time.
Pieces of my heart forever out there somewhere.
May their angels continue to watch over them and may all the prayers we poured into them be answered.

I started it as a result of lifes past events and trials and my finding a Power greater than all the chaos that seemed to be in my life at that time.
Everything has a hidden beauty when looking beyond the veil of human reasoning.
I found God (As i understand Him) 20 years ago and since then have been on a wonderful spiritual journey of self and surrender.
